Clubmark
2011 sees us start our journey towards gaining 'Clubmark' accreditation.
The ECB makes this award to clubs with "a vibrant and healthy club cricket infrastructure, that are prioritising junior development, creating a benchmark for high quality community club cricket".
Cricket clubs are required to present evidence and demonstrate implementation across four different themes, culminating in the production of a Club Development Plan.
The four themes are:
* Duty of Care and Safeguarding Children
* The Cricket Programme
* Knowing your club and its Community – One Game
* Club Management
We already do much of what is required, we just need to formalise and evidence our efforts.
Super Scorer Shelley is co-ordinating our progress and we expect it to take 12-18 months to gain the Clubmark award.
This will then give us greater access to coaching courses, grants, as well as showing our commitment to cricket in the local community.

Indoor Glory
More success for English Cricket. Our Indoor League team are top of the table and would need to select Ricky Ponting or Xavier Doherty to miss out on promotion.
Games continue every week on various evenings ... contact Geoff Tindsley if you fancy a game(07793 039002).
Tinno has reclaimed Postman status after delivering every week to be the league's MVP.
