Changing Rooms

Thanks to everyone who turned up to paint, cater, or just stand around drinking tea, as Sunday saw the first stage of the transformation of the Field of Dreams pavilion. The new colour scheme will be typically understated.

Not for the first time, Bobby spent Sunday morning decorating the toilet......

This was just the first coat. More willing volunteers would be very welcome next Sunday at 11.00.

A message from Dale 'Nick Knowles' Collison........

Hello everyone, hope you have all wintered well. As part of the 2008 ground improvements programme, we will be holding two 'Club Day' events before the start of the season. The proposed days are Sunday 30th March and Sunday 6th April (with 20th April also set aside as a back up in case of rain washing out either of the other two dates). On Day 1 we plan to rip out the old home changing room seats, give the home changing rooms a good clean and a new lick of paint in Keyworth colours.

On Day 2 we will install new benches in the changing rooms and also hope to erect a fence at the bottom end to stop balls getting lost in the hedge (we are awaiting confirmation of funding from the KPFA for this - watch this space).

So we really need volunteers who fancy 'doing their bit' for the club to step up to the plate - this means you !

We will be at the Pavilion from 11am - Bacon butties and as much tea as you can drink will be on the menu - experience is not required but enthusiasm is a must !
