Tuckers Turkey Trot

Sunday the 13th of December saw Tuckers take part in the Keyworth half marathon for his own enjoyment... and to raise some funds for the ever expanding KCC Junior section - with an Under 11's 6 aside team hitting the indoor scene from the 3rd of January.

A huge thank you to all those who contributed by filling in a square, to guess the correct time that Tuckers crossed the line - with a luxury No.8 Christmas hamper awaiting the victor.

After a gruelling 13 miles and a bit, the line was finally stumbled over in 1:40:02, with the big man looking glad to have finished after a tough stretch, accompanied by some sleet, in Willoughby.

Helen Dalkin at Willow Brook School was the proud owner of the Christmas hamper after predicting 1:40:00 from Amanda Brown 1:40:05.

Once again, thank you to everyone for your support both with your £1's and all of the verbal support on the day. £100 was raised for the Juniors.
